Event Management Overview and Tech Training ~ Feb 6 @ Pure Gold Stables

This seminar is for organizers and secretaries or those who are simply interested in learning more about what is involved in running a successful competition.  Although this presentation is geared towards the Horse Trials and Mini Trials; there is useful information for running various types of competitions and clinics. This seminar is divided into two sessions.  The first session will begin @ 12:30 and is a basic overview of what is involved in running an event.  The second session is dedicated to introducing participants to FOUR systems that can help organizers and secretaries run competitions more smoothly and efficiently.  The tech training session will begin at 2:00. The systems that will be covered are:

Blue Horse Entries for accepting on line entries and payment

Start Box for data entry, scheduling, scoring and reports

Sign Up Genius for organizing volunteers, clinics, jumper shows, hunter paces and more

My Course Walk for measuring cross country and show jumping courses and producing maps

Please click on the links above to familiarize yourself with the systems before the training sessions and if you are an organizer you will need to set up an Organizers account with Blue Horse Entries to enable you to set up your competition during the session.
